Copoly Self-Adhesive Elastic Bandage 15 cm x 4.5 m - Black is the widest Copoly elastic bandage format, designed for sport and for wrapping larger body areas quickly and evenly. The cohesive material sticks securely to itself without sticking to skin or hair.

The 15 cm width provides broad coverage and is particularly practical around the knee, calf, thigh and other larger areas. Because it covers more surface with each turn, it allows faster wrapping than narrower bandages.

    Product details

    • Size: 15 cm x 4.5 m
    • Colour: Black
    • Brand: Copoly
    • Self-adhesive: sticks to itself without additional tape or glue.

    Recommended for sport

Suitable for training, football and other sports when broader coverage is needed around the knee, calf, thigh or other larger areas. The 15 cm format helps cover more surface with fewer turns.

    Copoly – Practical application guide

Copoly is a self-adherent elastic bandage: it sticks to itself, so clips or additional tape are normally not needed. It can be applied on intact skin or over a sock, sleeve or sports equipment, depending on the purpose.

    How to apply it

    1. Place the joint or body area in a comfortable, natural position. The skin should be clean and dry.
    2. Place the end of the roll on the area and make the first turn with little or no stretch, just to anchor the bandage.
    3. Continue wrapping while unrolling the bandage. Use only light to moderate stretch and overlap each new layer by about half the width of the previous layer. Do not pull the bandage to its maximum stretch.
    4. After 2–3 turns, or when the desired fixation is achieved, tear the bandage by hand or cut it with scissors. Press the end firmly onto the previous layer so it adheres to itself.
    5. Move the fingers or toes and check comfort. The bandage should feel secure, not tight.

    Football

    • Ankle: use the bandage around the ankle for additional fixation during training or matches, without limiting circulation or normal movement unnecessarily.
    • Shin guards and socks: Copoly can also be used to help keep shin guards or the upper part of the sock in position. Do not wrap the calf too tightly.
    • Choosing the width: 5 cm and 7.5 cm are easier to control around the ankle; 10 cm and 15 cm cover larger areas faster.

    Handball

    • Wrist: anchor the first turn around the wrist and add 2–3 overlapping turns with light tension. Make sure the fingers can move freely.
    • Forearm: use a wider bandage when a larger area must be covered, again without excessive compression.

    Important safety checks

    • Do not apply over open wounds, irritated skin or a suspected serious injury.
    • If the bandage causes itching, burning, increasing pain, numbness, tingling or loss of sensation, remove it.
    • If the hand or foot becomes cold, pale, blue/purple or unusually swollen, remove the bandage immediately and do not reapply it tightly.
    • Reapply the bandage if it becomes loose, dirty or uncomfortable.

Tip: because Copoly is elastic, the amount of stretch controls the compression. For routine sports use, light to moderate tension is usually enough.
