Application guide – Elastic & biomechanical sports tape

Before application

Clean and dry the skin thoroughly. Remove creams or oils and do not apply over open wounds or strongly irritated skin.

Choose the technique by tape type

For ACTIVETAPE and Dynamic Tape, use the tape as a mechanical or biomechanical aid: anchor the ends with minimal tension and apply the working section according to the intended movement or load-management goal. For Stretch Tape and Tensoplast, apply with light to moderate tension and smooth overlapping turns without creating excessive circumferential pressure.

After application

Check comfort, skin colour, temperature and normal movement. Remove the tape if pain increases or if numbness, tingling, unusual swelling, burning or persistent irritation appears. Supportive taping does not replace medical assessment when an injury is suspected.
